T.O. Hearings

This story is just to good to be true. I know i said that i wouldn't talk about T.O. but c'mon, I can't resist this story. Rumor has it that the NFL will force the Eagles to take T.O. back or make the suspension shorter. T.O. just wants to play, he's sorry, Drew's sorry, if you like T.O. play everyone is happy. Well everyone except Andy "Not T.O.'s Daddy" Reid and Joe "Don't Call Me David" Banner. I really hate to say it but T.O. is the best WR in the biz, by far. Randy is good, but T.O. is the best. Have you seen this man do sit-ups in his driveway, just a monster. This guy would be a big saftey if he played on the other side of the ball. Would you want this guy to hit you? Hell no. I do hate praising T.O. but at the same time I believe he deserves the money. The guy risked his playing life to play in a super bowl, and Donovan was just to "sick" to get T.O. the ball. T.O. just went wrong in how he tried to get the money. If he went at it like Hines Ward did then T.O. would be praised and he would be catching TDs instead of catching right hooks from Hugh Dougles. Speaking of Hines Ward, congrats on becoming the Steelers #1 all time leading reciever. Who would have thought. I say put him in the Hall, if Lynn Swan deserves to be there this guy does too.

Pujols NL MVP

Today the National League MVP was given out and it deservingly went to Albert Pujols. Yeah I don't have much to complain about here, the man has averaged 40 HR's and 100 RBI's in each of his first five seasons. Barry Bonds was in the way before but now that he was hurt it paved the way for Pujol's to snatch the award. I only have one question, what about the season Andruw Jones had. AJ was first in HR's and RBI's and won his 48th gold glove in a row this season, all the while keeping the Braves afloat and eventually winning the NL East for like the 13th time. That’s just nuts, 13 years at the top of a division. To bad they can't win a playoff series or we would talk dynasty. But Pujols has waited long enough for this award and he deserves it all the way. Good job Albert. Oh and Donovan, you need T.O....that's all I'm saying about T.O. hopefully.

MVP-Rod

When I saw this headline on ESPN.com I think my jaw actually hit my desk. How could anyone, even New Yorkers pick slap happy over big papi? Yeah ok we get it Ortiz is a DH big deal; he was the most VALUABLE player, key on VALUABLE. If you (the voters) put so much emphasis on defense, then would you vote a shortstop with 1000% fielding the MVP...no you wouldn't because his average is 250 and he has three homeruns. To say A-Slappy is the most valuable player in the American League is like saying "I think Bartolo Colon should be the Cy Young Winner," oh wait that already happened. So what if A-McSlaps had better numbers, who would you send up in the bottom of the 9th with a guy on 2nd...of course BIG PAPI. If this was the Best Numbers Award then yeah good job A-Rod-in-your-ass you win, but its not, it’s called the most VALUABLE player. I rest my case. Until tomorrow.
