You play to win the game...

Never is that more true then this afternoon for the Minnesota Twins and the Detroit Tigers. Winner goes to New York for the start of the ALDS and the loser goes home to watch the game on their 52 inch plasma big screen tv's. Never has a team played in a play-in game in back to back seasons as the Twins look to reverse last year's fortune and make the playoffs for the 4th time this decade.

We all remember last years play in game. The 1-0 letdown of a game vs the White Sux. Thome's lone solo shot in the 7th inning was preceded by Cuddy getting thrown out at the plate in the 5th. One run is all it took to send the Twins home. One run. And today we get to do it all over again. Only this time we are home. This time will be different...I hope.

I've never been so excited to go to a Twins game and it has trickled down to Lucy
