He's has escaped!

Mike Vick was released from prison today and the folks from PETA probably think that this is some sort of tragedy and that he should be locked up forever. Vick was in prison for just over a year and a half for being the ring leader in a dog fighting operation and now he is free* (by free I mean under house arrest for two months and he will always face scrutiny wherever he goes from crazies...)

A lot of people do not believe that Mike Vick will be a quarterback in the NFL and I say why not? Sure he didn't complete 50% of his passes or read the defenses like Tom Brady. But he's not Tom Brady, he is Mike Vick. Vick is the best running quarterback that the NFL had ever seen. And don't even get me started on the thought that Vick would be the perfect QB for the Wildcat offense... (well since you brought it up. First, Vick is not, I repeat, NOT a running back. He cannot take the same hits that say Ronnie Brown can. For a Wildcat offense to work the defense has to worry about both players running with the ball. The QB in the Wildcat would usually bust it up the gut. Something Vick does not do. Secondly, No. Just no.)

Vick will eventually be on a NFL roster, but which one? Glad you asked...

Jacksonville - They would be the front runners in landing/needing Michael Vick. An up and coming franchise only seasons ago, last year they fell on their face and could use a pick me up. David Gerrard took a step back last year and Mike Vick could challenge for his job right away.

Carolina - There are rumblings that Jake "Daylight come but you got to" Delhomme may not be the right guy, right now. The five interception game last post season vs the Cardinals doesn't help his case either. Vick could work here as well

Miami - This would be a good fit because I'm sure the Dolphins will think what I told you not to think. They are the inventors of the Wildcat and perhaps Vick could beat out Chad Pennington anyway for the QB job out right.

Buffalo - My wild card. Buffalo doesn't have the bright lights and temptations that a Miami has. It does have an Applebee's though. And if this is any indication...then the Bills will do great things with TO and Vick together.

Where ever Vick ends up I do wish him the best. I was a fan from his beginning and he will continue to be a favorite. Its not like he killed a person...
